Nick Leontsinis, Chris Romano & Anthony Painter will descend upon Victoria’s Winton Raceway aboard their late model Mazda MX5 for this weekends’ Valvoline Winton 300.

Chris RomanoThe pairing of Romano & Leontsinis tasted success mid year at the inaugural Modern Sports Cars series with a podium in class. Romano is a performance wizard with both mechanical and chassis tuning. Most recently his Queensland based franchise, Romano WORKX  engineered the fastest Renault Sport Megane in Australia at the Oz Renault Sport Nationals.

Nick Leontsinis ProfileLeontsinis has mastered every discipline he’s attempted including open wheelers and sports cars. Sports car racing has secured a bevy of accolades at every east coast circuit in Australia for the likeable larrikin including a lap record at Bathurst (amongst many others).

Anthony PainterAnthony Painter has been campaigning his lightly modified Renault Sport Clio in various categories across NSW & Queensland. Painter’s goal is to successfully manage his stint and be classed as a finisher in what is a gruelling 100 lap event. Teamed with two of the best endurance racers in the field, Painters chances look very encouraging.

Their Targa Racing prepared late model Mazda MX5 has won several classes and finished in the top 6 outright during last years Winton 300. A class podium looks to be a distinct possibility for the trio. “All for one and one for all”. Good luck guys!
